How to cancel a partial payment

Objective

How to cancel a partial payment that was applied by accident on the Sell Screen when the sale has yet to be processed. 

Setup

• Retail POS for Mac or PC
• Retail POS on iPad 

Steps

1. Select Pay 
2. Enter the amount of the partial payment as a negative value
3. Click the payment type used (e.g. Cash)
4. The full balance will return to the Pay Screen
5. Process a new payment with the right amount/payment type
