How to process returns on layaway sales

Objective

How to return items on a layaway sale when they cannot be deleted from the sell screen.

Setup

• Retail POS for Mac or PC
• Retail POS for iPad

Steps

1. Go to Sell
2. Click on Sales History
3. Filter for layaway sales
4. Click Search
5. Click continue sale arrow
6. On the sell screen, add the product for return
7. Enter negative quantity
8. Pay balance
