Why am I unable to delete a customer?

Setup

• Retail POS for Mac or PC 
• Retail POS on iPad

Answer

You are unable to delete customers that have an owing balance. You have to either pay off the open sales or void them.

Voiding the original sale:

1. Navigate to Customers -> Customers
2. Locate and select the customer you wish to delete
3. Click View Sales
4. Locate and select the sale with an outstanding balance
5. Click Void
6. Click Void Sale
