Can I bypass Loyalty when I apply discounts on the Sell screen?

Can I have Loyalty not apply to a sale if I have a discount applied on the Sell screen? 

Setup

• Retail POS for Mac or PC
• Retail POS on iPad

Answer

No, even with line discounts or global discounts, Loyalty will still be accumulated based on the product and total price the customer pays.

Additional information

You can bypass Loyalty by creating a Promotion, through a "catch-all" customer, or by disabling Loyalty for the customer.

• Create a catch-all customer with Loyalty disabled and assign this customer for each discounted sale you perform: Adding customers in Retail POS (X-Series)
• If a customer is added to the sale, you can turn off Loyalty for this customer from the Sell Screen however this will disable them from earning Loyalty going forward.
