How do I change taxes assigned to products in bulk via CSV?

Setup

• Retail POS for Mac or PC
• Spreadsheet editing software

Steps

1. Navigate to Catalog -> Products
2. Click on Export List
3. Open the CSV file that will download to your computer
4. Under column outlet_tax_(your outlet) change the tax name to an existing tax
5. Save the file
6. In Retail POS, click on Import
7. Import the CSV file

Additional Information

Please note that you must type the tax name in the CSV file exactly as you have it in your setup. It is case sensitive. 

If you are a tax-inclusive store changing the retail price will also change the retail price of those items.
