Why is there a difference between the Total Value Sold in the Gift Card Report and the Revenue of Gift Card Sales in the Sales Report?

Answer

There will be a difference in revenue between the Gift Card Report and the Sales Report when a discount is applied to a Gift Card sale.

The Sales Report revenue will reflect the value of the Gift Card sales with any discounts applied whilst the Gift Card Report's Total Value Sold is a record of the value of the Gift Cards sold without any discounts applied.
