How to edit Product Handle for Standard Products in Retail POS (X-Series)

Objective

Edit the handle name for Standard Products.

Setup

• Retail POS for Mac or PC

Steps

Edit via CSV 

1. Navigate to Catalog -> Products
2. Click Export List...
3. Save an extra copy of that CSV file as a backup
4. Remove the inventory columns
5. CSV file should have the column headers: id, sku, handle, name, retail_price, tax_name 
6. Edit the handle field in the CSV file
7. Save your file
8. Navigate to Catalog -> Products
9. Click Import
10. Click browse to select your CSV file or drag and drop CSV file
11. Click Continue with import
