Answer
When an order comes through from your e-Commerce platform (Shopify, BigCommerce or WooCommerce) or you have processed an Unfulfilled Sale, the Inventory Movements View will show the movement as a Sale and the inventory becomes "Reserved", which removes it from the inventory quantity.
Once the order is fulfilled, the inventory moves to the customer that is attached to the order.
