Why would a product show in my Sales Report but not in my Product Performance Report?

Question

Why would the sale of a product show on the Sales Report but not on the Product Performance Report for the same date range?

This can happen if the product in question is now inactive and your Product Performance Report is set not to include inactive Products:

Additional Information

Sales Report include inactive products by default while any Inventory Report allows choosing your settings. You can always change the settings of your report by clicking the "Change" button.
