Can I make two products with the same name?

Does Retail POS allow two seperate products to have identical names, while being two different products?

• Retail POS for Mac or PC

Answer

No, products cannot have the same name.

The product name must be unique. Any product with a duplicate name, sku or handle will not be able to be saved when using the Add Product page.

Duplicate name, sku or handle will also cause the product to be ignored when using a .CSV/.XLSX file import.
