What happens when the received quantity of a product on the stock transfer differs from the original ordered quantity?

Setup

  • Retail POS for Mac or PC
  • Retail POS on iPad

Answer

The quantity ordered will be removed from the source outlet as the transfer is sent.

If the quantity received is less than the quantity ordered, only the received quantity will be added to the receiving outlet. The difference will be added back to the source outlet.

If the quantity received is greater than the quantity ordered, the received quantity will be added to the receiving outlet. The difference will be removed from the source outlet.
