Can a promotion be made that will discount the final sale price rather than the products within the sale?

Setup

• Retail POS on PC or Mac
• Retail POS for iPad

Answer

Retail POS promotions work off the products themselves within the sale and are triggered based off those products. However, while the discounted amount is taken off the products themselves the final price of a promotion will be the equivalent of a discount applied to that final cost.
